There´s no reason to keep junk in the UK. Every week you receive from the postman a charity bag, to give away all this old things that you don´t already use, mainly clothes and shoes. It´s unbeliavable the amount of stuff you can find at home. Definitily it´s my practical character that allows me throwing away all sorts of things every season without any difficulty. And when I finish to sort out them I feel a fantastic relief; and I enjoy looking into my wardrobes and drawers much tidier than before the clearing out.
Last great occasion to get rid of some stuff was when we moved here, at the end of the summer. We were scrapping junk for, at least,three months....and however the moving truck travelled across two countries and half with around one hundred and fifty packed package!!! (Who could imagine something like that?). I hate accumulating useless things but I know it is part of our lifes and most of time it´s impossible to avoid it, so I´ll wait for a few months to clear my house out again. Don´t be lazy.... surely you should do the same!
No hay motivo para guardar trastos en Reino Unido. Cada semana recibes en el buzón de casa una bolsa de alguna ONG, para donar todas esas cosas viejas que ya no usas, sobre todo ropa y zapatos. Es increible la cantidad de cosas que puedes encontrar en casa. Definitivamente es mi carácter práctico el que me permite tirar toda clase de cosas cada temporada sin niguna dificultad. Y cuando termino de ordenar, siento un fantástico alivio; y disfruto mirando mis cajones y armarios mucho más ordenados que antes de la limpieza.
La última gran ocasión para deshacerme de algunas cosas fue cuando nos mudamos aquí, a finales del verano. Estuvimos desechando cacharros al menos tres meses.... y sin embargo el camión de la mudanza cruzó dos paises y medio con unos ciento cincuenta paquetes embalados!!! (Quién podría imaginar algo así?). Odio acumular cosas inservibles pero sé que forma parte de nuestra vida y la mayoria de las veces es imposible evitarlo, así que esperaré unos cuantos meses para "hacer limpieza" de nuevo en casa. No seáis perezosos....seguramente vosotros deberíais hacer lo mismo!
